There are three levels of bicycle advocacy…

1. National

Organizations such as the League of American Bicyclists put pressure on Congress and federal agencies to insure legislation, funding and other support for bicycle related programs.

2. State

Groups like Bicycle Colorado help promote bicycle needs and rights on the state level, going to the legislature to make sure your interests are looked after within the state.

3. Local

Us. BikeDenver is your local advocate, working for bicycle facilities, rights and needs within the city, making riding in Denver safer, easier and more enjoyable.

By becoming an active member of BikeDenver, you can make a powerful impact on your rights here in your own community. We’ll alert you of upcoming events, opportunities to speak out for cyclist rights and important news and action items… we’ll also let you know when we’re doing something fun!
